Open-Area Smoke Image Detection (OSID)
Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection (OSID) is an innovative system for reliable, cost-effective smoke detection for large, open spaces requiring standard sensitivity detection. In its simplest configuration, OSID uses one imager, a camera-like device with a wide field of view, and a wired or battery-powered emitter roughly aligned on the opposite wall within the protected area.

FireRay 5000 Optical Beam Smoke Detection
FireRay 5000 is the first of a new family of auto aligning infrared optical beam smoke detector products and accessories. This innovative system has been designed from the ground up to include pioneering technology that fully addresses the needs of the installer and user, both now and in the future.ng full compatibility with MZX Technology the new MZX based systems combine superior capabilities with lower cost and reduced complexity.


FireRay 3000 End-to-End Infrared Optical Beam Smoke Detector
The FireRay® 3000 End to End Infrared Optical Beam Smoke Detector (OBSD) has been designed using the latest optical technology, incorporating modern industrial, electronic and software techniques. This detector offers cost effective protection of large, open area spaces with high ceilings.

FireRay 50 / 100R Optical Beam Smoke Detection
FireRay 50/100R is a reflective infra-red beam smoke detector. The system comprises of two base elements i.e. a combined infra-red transmitter and receiver in a common housing and a reflective prism. The electronics of the combined transmitter and receiver unit analyse the reflected beam from the prism for smoke and generates an alarm condition if a pre-determined level is reached.

BDM800 Loop Powered Beam Detector Module
The BDM800 Beam Detector Module is designed to interface the MZX FireRay 50R/100R/2000 Beam Detectors to the MZX Digital Addressable Loop. The BDM800 provides power from the loop, monitors the Fire and Fault Relay Contacts of the detector and also monitors the wiring to the detector for open and short circuit faults.

BTM800 Beam Termination Module
In many cases it will be necessary to site the BDM800 Beam Detector Module some distance from the beam detector itself. To minimise and simplify wiring in such cases an optional unit, the BTM800 Beam Termination Module is available. The BTM800 is housed in a standard double gang ancillary cover and has all the connections and components required to minimise installation time.
